| The Asscher brothers from Amsterdam had already been asked by King Edward VII to cut the 530 carat Cullinan diamond. So people paid attention when Abraham and Joseph introduced their variation on the popular emerald cushion cut at the turn of the 20th-century. Their octagon-shaped, stepped cut was enormously popular during the 1920s and has enjoyed a resurgence as an A-list accessory on some of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities. Our tribute to this classic solitaire style features an Asscher-inspired, Amsterdam-cut, scientifically grown DiamondAura® (3 ctw), prong-set in an elaborate .925 sterling silver cradle. Branching out from the center, down the sides of the band, are dazzling DiamondAura trapezoids and a row of straight white baguette-cuts. Our ring is flavored with just enough Art Deco-inspired flair to enhance the center solitaire without overwhelming its stunning simplicity. With just as much fire and dispersion as natural stones, our lab-created DiamondAura Amsterdam-cut is dramatic, radiant and red-carpet ready! |
