In 1958, Mercedes-Benz upped their game by adding mechanical fuel injection to their S-class of luxury sedans.
The result was the 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE, with a six-cylinder in-line engine and an impressive brake horsepower of 137. Painstakingly produced in the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen Works factory in Germany, the 220 SE combined the luxury of an all-leather interior and stately exterior with some raw power, and the Cabriolet version added a dash of fun, so lucky owners could drop the top and feel the wind rush past them. This die-cast 1:18 scale model of the 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet comes in a classic red-and-cream colour scheme. The car comes with functioning steering, and bonnet, doors and boot that all open and close. You can add our model for significantly less, because we’ve gone with just three figures.
